An important value added benefit that is standard on all Crown Communities homes is the advanced “SMART HOME” structured wiring system.
This digital grade wiring system consists of using premium grade wire to connect your home through RG-6 quad-shield coaxial cable for TV and video applications and CAT5e wiring (the same wiring used in computer networks) for phone, data, and other applications.
Quad-shielded Coaxial cable means you have the maximum protection from interference with your TV picture. CAT5e wire can provide up to four dedicated phone lines without crosstalk and supports high speed internet and computer networking. These standard cables deliver all the performance you need today, while providing the capacity to handle tomorrow’s technology.
The standard Smart Connection Center is also the location for mounting advanced electronic equipment and other system modules used when you select any of our optional Technology Packages.
Optional Technology Packages currently available:
- Complete Home Theatre Systems
- Whole House Music Systems
- Digitally Ready Smart Homes with Internet based Interactive Security System
- Intercom Systems
- Security Cameras that can be viewed on the home’s TVs or from the Internet. Normally these optional packages can be added to your home's sales price and financed in with the mortgage.
